Jennifer M. Jensen, CPA

As one of the founding principals of Jensen Smith Certified Public Accountants, Jennifer brings a depth of experience working with many different types of clients. She completed her Master of Science in Taxation in 2011 with a focus on estate and trust issues and continues to keep up to date on the ever changing tax laws. She maintains her membership with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Government Audit Quality Center and the California Society of CPAs.  Jennifer is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln and has served as the Treasurer of the Club and its Foundation, the Lincoln Kiwanis Foundation. She is a past President of the Club and Foundation. She also serves on the advisory board of some of the local non-profit organizations. She has extensive experience in auditing non-profit organizations and special districts and has taught continuing professional education to other CPAs on auditing non-profit organizations, new auditing standards and government auditing and accounting standards. She also co-authored and taught "Essential Elements for Non-profit Accounting" for the Independent Living Centers through the California Department of Rehabilitation and completed the AICPA Certificate II program for Not-for-Profit Organizations.
Jennifer lives in Lincoln with her husband Frank and her two children Alyssa and Antonio.
